Boy aged 10 sodomised, rapist sent to jail
ISLAMABAD: A 10-year-old boy has been sodomised in Alipur, while the accused have been arrested and shifted to a jail on the orders of a magistrate.
The Shahzad Town Police arrested the accused and shifted him to the jail on the orders of a magistrate after the accused, 23-year-old Talha Noor, allegedly raped the child. Investigating Officer ASI Muhammad Nawaz told The Spokesman that the victim and the accused were neighbours.
On Sunday, the accused taken the victim to nearby wheat farm and allegedly sodomised him. “The people around the farm heard Abbas screaming and reached the location where they caught the accused red handed,” ASI Nawaz said. He further said that the neighbours of the victim family immediately informed the police about the incident and the police then arrested the accused from his house.
“Police registered the FIR (No 188) against the accused and presented him in front of the magistrate where he was ordered to be shifted to jail,” said ASI Nawaz. However, he said the victim family has refused a medical checkup of the victim. When contacted, Mashoor Khan, father of the victim, refused to state anything about the issue.
