Capital traffic cop shot
ISLAMABAD: An official of Capital traffic police was shot and injured by some unidentified men on Tuesday. SHO Arshad Ali of Koral police station told The Spokesman that “Ehsan Elahi was patrolling from Khanna Pull to Koral Town on Islamabad Highway. Near Fazaia Chowk, when around 8pm he saw three men on a motorbike trying to stop a vehicle suspiciously. The inspector stopped his vehicle to check the matter but as he came out of his car, one of the three men shot a bullet at him injuring his thigh, while the attackers escaped successfully”. He further said that the inspector is now out of danger as the bullet has missed his leg bone causing a minor injury.
